KidsPro NW
Quick Links

KidsPro NW is a year-long exploratory training program for the performing arts. It is designed to give young performers access to professional artists, expectations, and educational opportunities. Through advanced specialized instruction, KidsPro members develop performance skills and theater awareness.
KidsPro workshops are held throughout the season over all three terms. Members choose the level, workshops, events and outings they want to attend. This flexibility allows KidsPro members to participate in Mainstage shows, Second Stage programs and other projects.
Ages range
Eleven to fifteen (existing students are allowed to stay until 16)
Participation
Students interested in KidsPro NW are considered at NWCT season auditions, held each June. From there, selected students are notified if they are accepted into the program. Prospective KidsPro members and their families may register upon acceptance, or can attend the informational roundup held on September 18th, 1pm-3pm. At that time the KidsPro season schedule of events will be provided and there will be time to answer questions. Past KidsPro members who attend season auditions are automatically invited to renew membership for the upcoming season.
KidsPro is offered in three levels:
Basic KidsPro Level I
-
Includes weekly workshops with professional guests
-
Three local theater excursions
-
NWCT’s annual Star Struck Seminar
-
Advance notice of classes, season and special offers
Acting Intensive Kids Pro Level II
-
Level II offers everything listed above, but instead of weekly workshops, students train in a year of Advanced Acting workshops. They also are invited to audition for the KidsPro Second Stage production. (Participation in the Second Stage show is not mandatory.) The season will end with a showcase of work chosen, directed and performed by the students.

Students may sign up for both KidsPro levels at the same time for a discounted tuition. Payment plans and tuition assistance are available.
