Free parking is available in the NWCT lot located directly behind the theater on NW Flanders.
On-street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood.
Please note: Parking in Northwest Portland can require patience and planning. NWCT recommends all patrons pad their trip with extra travel time. A good rule of thumb is to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before show time.
NWCT is located on several major bus lines running through Northwest Portland, and is just a few blocks from the streetcar, and from MAX lines that run near PGE Park. Visit TriMet’s website to plan your visit using public transportation.
NWCT’s location is also bike-friendly, and is located on streets with dedicated bike lanes and “Green Box” intersections. Bike lock areas are available outside the theater and around the neighborhood.
NWCT is located in the historic Northwest Neighborhood Cultural Center in the vibrant Nob Hill neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.
The building is fully accessible, and features a theater with 400 full view seats and 250 limited view seats. Numerous rooms are used as classrooms, performance venues, meeting and event spaces, as well as several administrative offices. Free off-street parking is available. NWCT’s theater features assigned seating in cushioned pews. Additional cushions are available to use for free during performances. Click on the image below for a larger, printable PDF.
Will-call is located in our lobby and tickets are available for pick-up one hour before performance time. Tickets are held under your last name. If you have lost or forgotten your tickets, our Box Office staff will be happy to print you a new copy.
Tinkerbell’s Gift Shop features a charming selection of toys, puppets, books and collectibles relating to the shows and classes. Tinkerbell’s is open for Mainstage performances and during most class times.
A percentage of Tinkerbell’s sales support NWCT, and annual donors receive 10% off gift shop purchases.

Wheelchair access is located at our 19th Street entrance (near the parking lot). Inside, there is an elevator to take patrons from the lobby to the theater. Please feel free to call before your arrival so that a staff member may be ready to assist you. Wheelchair accessible seating and restrooms are also available.
Audio-described performances are scheduled for all our productions. Call the Box Office for audio described show dates and times.
Sign-interpreted performances can be scheduled with prior notice. Please call the Box Office before booking tickets to make arrangements.
