About Northwest Neighborhood Cultural Center (NWNCC)
Located in Northwest Portland, NWNCC has been the home of Northwest Children's Theater and School (NWCT) for 20 years. As managing tenants, NWCT currently shares the building with the community including Ovation Choirs, GNC Ministries Productions, Independence Network, and Portland Child Art Studio, all local non profits. By renting with NWNCC not only are you booking a Portland venue at an incredible price, your dollars are supporting a wonderful mission. Your rental dollars help support programing that brings theater and arts education and experiences to thousands of Portland kids every year. NWCT is not just about plays, or classes. It’s about the next generation of creative thinkers.
NWCT Birthday Party Packages
Create a completely unique birthday experience with a party room and your child’s favorite Northwest Children’s Theater show. In our 20th Anniversary Season, we will bring your child’s favorite characters to life in Roald Dahl’s The BFG, Peter Pan, Seussical, and Cinderella. At the top of the show, NWCT provides a special birthday announcement from the stage for your son or daughter. Just invite your guests, and we do the rest. No set up. No clean up. Wedding Venue
A Portland wedding venue you can afford. Our Looking Glass hall boasts Roman Revival architecture with an array of photography opportunities throughout the building and the surrounding NW Portland neighborhood. The reception hall holds an intimate party of 84 and includes large daylight windows that extend onto a small courtyard, tables, chairs, and a small kitchenette. For larger ceremonies, we have a beautiful theater that holds 250. Learn more.
Reunion Venue
It’s time to reconnect with family and friends, and you’ll want a Portland venue that is both welcoming and impressive. Our historic reception hall comfortably accommodates up to 84 people for a seated dinner, and our venue amenities (including tables and chairs at no added costs) will make the event easy to host and completely memorable for your guests.
