NWCT offers a schedule of school matinees for every production each season. Below are the titles, dates and times for school matinees in the 2012-13 season. Simply select the show you would like to attend (see schedule below), then call 503-222-2190 or email Student Matinee Manager, Cindi Kinder to make a reservation.

School matinee ticket pricing is as follows, and is the same for students, teachers and chaperones:
 
School groups of up to 24:              $7 each*
School groups of 25 to 99:              $6 each*
School groups of over 100:              $5 each*

Free Previews for Educators

Sleeping BeautyNew for the 2010-11 season! NWCT is opening preview performances to educators who are considering an NWCT production for a class field trip. For an invited preview schedule and to make reservations, please call 503-222-2190 or email School Matinee Liaison, Jenny Bunce.

  

Location and Logistics

All NWCT student matinee performances are held at the NW Neighborhood Cultural Center, 1819 NW Everett Street, Portland, Oregon. Please call 503-222-2190 for information about bus and chaperone parking.
 
Student Matinees are typically 90 minutes long. Talk-Backs are held directly following each performance, and last approximately ten minutes. Led by an adult cast member, students in the audience can ask questions about the show to learn more about the story, actors and process, and can even get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of tricks and special effects!
